Entries are invited from people of all nationalities, to illustrate how they see our planet and its environment at the dawn of a new millennium. Photographs should reflect our planet and environment in all its diversity. Their photographs should also attempt to convey their vision or dream, their anger or despair, their hopes or fears towards our "only one earth".

A maximum of three photographs may be submitted by each entrant. Each entry should be accompanied by a properly completed title sheet.

Entry forms can also be obtained from UNEP website on the internet.

The competition opens on 5 June 1999; no entries will be accepted before that date. The competition closes on 30 April 2000; no entries will be accepted after that date.
All submitted photographs must have been taken between 1 January 1999 and 30 April 2000. Photographs taken between 1 January 1999 and 4 June 1999 must not be submitted before 5 June 1999.
